“Rosacea” is a common chronic skin condition affecting the central face in men and women. It is more common in people with fair skin, blue eyes and of Celtic origin. Patients usually have redness, frequent blushing or flushing, prominent blood vessels, red papules and sometimes pustules on the nose, forehead, cheeks and chin. Some people have triggers like sun exposure, hot and spicy food, or alcoholic beverages.
